Hello!!

I'm Beth Piper, a still life, Americana photographer, who appreciates the beauty of simple things.  Whether I'm arranging flowers for a shoot, visiting a farm in hopes of capturing a glimpse of a cow with sparkling brown eyes, or just jumping in the car, destination unknown, to "see what I can see", all of these activities have the potential to spark my creativity.  While I find vast landscapes, and brilliant sunsets visually appealing, I am often drawn to scenes of a smaller scale, such as the tiniest detail of a freshly cut flower, the texture of barnwood, or even the pattern of feathers on a pint sized hummingbird.  My hope is to convey that appreciation to detail in all of my photos.  And finally, here a few fun facts about me:

- I have been married to my high school sweetheart for over 30 years.

- My favorite sandwich is peanut butter and jelly, raspberry not grape.

- I have a bit of a thing for wrapping paper, and pretty ribbons, (again, details and textures).

- My favorite place to be is on or by the water.

- Music of all kinds just brings me joy.
